CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA - In June, the Canaveral Port Authority selected the design-build team of Skanska/Ivey’s/BEA Architects/Stottler Stagg & Assoc./BRPH for the design and construction of Cruise Terminal 6 (CT6) at Port Canaveral. A cutting-edge design for the new facility was recently completed by BEA Architects of Miami. The scope of this $22.5 million project includes a two-story, 110,000 SF cruise terminal along with work on adjacent sites to further expand future cruise operations.
BRPH will serve as a subcontractor on the project providing structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering services. CT6 will mark nearly 200 projects BRPH has played a role in designing at Port Canaveral.
When complete, CT6 will be the new home of the Carnival Ecstasy mega-ship which represents the third ship from the company’s fleet at the port.
